Wuhan, May 14, 2025 – The 2025 World Digital Education Conference was commenced, co-hosted by the Ministry of Education of China, the Chinese National Commission for UNESCO, and the People's Government of Hubei Province. Vice Premier of the State Council Ding Xuexiang attended and addressed the opening ceremony of the conference in the afternoon. The event brought together over 80 countries and regions, with participation from heads of government departments, leaders of international organizations, diplomatic envoys to China, and presidents of renowned universities worldwide.
Concurrently, an exhibition showcasing achievements in digital education was held. Leaders and distinguished guests who attended the conference's opening ceremony and plenary sessions visited the exhibition. Centered on the theme "Boundless Intelligence, Symbiotic Education," the exhibition vividly addressed critical questions about education in the intelligent era. It further strengthened the consensus among both Chinese and international attendees: digital education—with its inherent advantages in equity, inclusivity, openness, and sharing—offers new pathways for education to better serve modernization efforts and the well-rounded development of individuals.
CEIEC was specifically involved in the organization and execution of this exhibition.
