2009 Fall National Higher Education equipment exhibition and 2009 China International Education Technology and Equipment Exhibition convened on November 9, 2009 in Dongguan, Guangdong province. President of China Higher Education Society Mr. Zhou Yuanqing, Deputy Director of Education Department of Guangdong Province Mr. WeiZhonglin and Ms. Milian, vice minister of Ministry of Higher Education attended the opening ceremony. President of China Educational Equipment and Instrument Corporation Mr. LiXingzhi opened the ceremony, Ms. SunLiwei, director of Higher Education Department of MOE made a speech at the opening ceremony.

 

    There are nearly 650 exhibitors brought their products to the exhibition. The exhibitors came from the United States, Germany, Canada, Japan, Korea, Finland, Italy, China Taiwan, and Hong Kong SAR, displaying a total area of 30,000 square meters. The exhibits included traditional school instruments, laboratory equipment, advanced audio-visual equipment, multimedia technology, and distance education equipment. It is the first time to show in the Southern China in the past two decades. Most of the visitors are people who did procurement and management in China major universities. It also attracted a large number of merchants from Southeast Asia, Europe, North America. At the same time the south-east are also actively organizing college visits. The visitors are expected to reach30000.

    In the evening of Nov. 9, the party “the Blue Dove Nightâ€?held as scheduled. Mr. LiWande, director of Chinese Society of Higher Education Materials Center presided over the party. Vice president of CEIEC Mr. LiYing delivered a speech.
