Description:

MPS Modular Producing System are designed and developed for the purpose of improving students' ability in actual action. The whole system will provide students with a integrated environment which helps to simulate the equipments of real work place and bring the full understanding of each single major. Each section can work individually and together when linked. So as to train control, programming, assembling and debugging technology.

1. Distributing Section

The main function of this section is to constantly distribute work pieces for processing, of which the silo can store 8 pieces for Max at one time. During the movement, the pusher shall move the work piece to the transport belt. Next, the vacuum suction cup of the conversion module will pick the work piece up, and the pivoted arm will then move the piece to the transfer belt of next station.

2. Testing Section

The main function of this section is to detect the features of the work pieces. With the help of photo-sensor, inductive transducer and capacitive transducer, the discrimination of the work piece can then be achieved. Before the work piece is lifted to the detection position, the backward optical reflective photo-sensor can detect whether this position is empty or not. The magnetic induction shall detect the high of work piece. The elevator cylinder shall transport the regular pieces to the upper level of the pneumatic slot, and the unqualified to the lower level of the pneumatic slot.

3. Processing Section

In this section, work pieces are simultaneously processed and detected on the plate. The electromagnetic implement device with inductive transducer shall check with the work piece is on the proper position. During drilling process, the electromagnetic implement device will clamp the work piece tight, and then transport the finished work piece to next section.

4. Pneumatic Hand Section

In this section, pivoted arm cylinder will rotate to one side of Processing Section, and then stretch out the air picker to subside to the position of work piece, and therefore pick it up. After that, it will elevate and draw back to detect the work piece again. The elevator cylinder shall transport the regular pieces to the upper level of the pneumatic slot, and the unqualified to the lower level of the pneumatic slot. This section co-works with other sections and define the classification, until transported to next section.

5. Sorting Section

Through the separator controlled by polarimeter, the double-acting cylinder will sort the work piece to its assortative slot.
