Description:

It is designed for wireless sensor network technology studying and experiments covering corresponding courses in specialties of communication engineering, electronic engineering, computer, mechanism, automatization and instrumentation. And students can studying configuration of ZigBee network and sensor data acquisition and knowledge of wireless transmission.

Details:

1. New contents: ZigBee/IEEE802.15.4 is a recent wireless protocol standard and it is used

widely in wireless sensor network because of low-power, low data rate and the operating

frequency band is 2.4GHz ISM frequency which is free. Chip CC2430 is adopted in wireless

network with high receiving sensitivity and anti-interference. And the node in wireless

network can be used as adjustor, router or the end. The topology of point-to-point, star

and tree are available.

2. Modular design: this system consists of service and nodes configured by RF module,

control module, low-power sensor module and power supply module.

3. Flexible configuration: there are 5 nodes for flexible configuration of relationships

of nodes and data.

4. Multi data acquisition: sensor module consisting of optical sensor, temperature sensor

and condition sensor module for obtaining information such as humidity, soil humidity,

illumination, wind speed and direction, etc.

5. Hardware & software: the experiments covering not only the fabrication of RF circuit,

data acquisition and processing, research and debugging of MCU, but also the understanding

and application of ZigBee protocol.
