Description:

The apparatus is improved on base of the last generation in respects of heating and vapour transmission device. The heat loss during vapor transmission is avoided and experimental error is decreased. The heater is equipped with temperature control circuit to avoid fierce boiling of water and to control the speed of vapor entering into the calorimeter. The calorimeter is insulated with polystyrene expanded plastic, which has much better insulation effect. The apparatus uses AD590 integrated circuit temperature sensor (linear) to measure temperature, which enables measurement of liquid specific vaporization heat without electric quantity, so the measurement is more accurate.

The apparatus is suitable for measurement of the specific vaporization heat of water. The experimental measurement is very accurate and reliable, and it can be used for heat experiment of fundamental physics in colleges and universities.

EXPERIMENTS:

1. Learning the calibration of the integrated linear temperature sensor AD590, learning temperature measuring method with the sensor.

2. Measuring the specific vaporization heat of water.
